The 1917 Frontier Bowie from Cold Steel® is an impressive tribute to the era of adventurers, sailors and western heroes. The blade is made of high-quality 1085 carbon steel, is deeply blued and tempered to spring hardness - for robustness and an elegant finish. Its wide shape with clip-point tip and generous fuller not only guarantees exceptional cutting performance, but also an impressive historical appearance.

A particular highlight is the large, S-shaped parrying element, which effectively protects your hand and gives the knife the typical Bowie look. The Malaysian salwood handle is flat and slightly curved like a pistol grip - so the knife remains secure and stable in the hand even when used with force.

The leather sheath supplied is as stylish as it is functional: equipped with a mouth plate and a blued steel locating strap, it offers a secure hold and protection for the blade. The swivel belt loop is also suitable for wide military belts - but can be completely removed if you prefer to wear the knife in a classic way on your belt.
