The Flower Katana from Cold Steel® is a tribute to Japanese culture's deep connection to nature and floral symbolism, which has served as a source of inspiration for art, design and craftsmanship for centuries. From cherry blossoms (sakura) to chrysanthemums - in Japan, floral motifs symbolise beauty, transience and harmony.

The detailed design of this samurai sword perfectly reflects this aesthetic: a stylised floral decoration adorns the tsuba (crossguard) and kashira (pommel) in an elegant silver/nickel look.

The blade is made of high-quality 1060 carbon steel, has a convex grind and has been refined with a differentiated heat treatment. The result is a clay-hardened hamon that not only looks good, but also guarantees outstanding cutting performance.

The hardwood handle is finished with genuine ray skin (seed) and a tightly wound silk cord. Traditional Menuki elements adorn the handle design, while the included saya (sheath) is made of lacquered hardwood and complemented by traditional silver/nickel fittings.
