In Japan, the crane symbolises luck, longevity, loyalty and strength. Inspired by traditional samurai swords, the Mizutori Katana combines masterful craftsmanship with high-quality materials and impressive aesthetics.

The blade of this exceptional katana is made from premium 1095 carbon steel, which is known for its high hardness and edge retention. The traditional clay hardening process gives the blade an authentic hardening line (Hamon), which is not only visually impressive but also improves resistance. The finely crafted Hamaguri grind ensures excellent cutting performance, while the highly polished surfaces of the blade exude elegance and prestige.

The design of this high-quality samurai sword is rounded off with ornate details: The tsuba and menuki are decorated with the stylised crane motif, while the handle (tsuka) is made from genuine ray skin and wrapped in fine, brown silk cord. This traditional finish ensures an excellent grip and an authentic feel.

The Mizutori katana is supplied with a black lacquered wooden sheath (saya), which not only offers protection but also emphasises the elegant appearance of the sword.
