Like the swords in the Emperor series, the models in the Warrior collection are made of 1060 carbon steel, a material known for its durability and sharpness. The blades are also hardened and sharpened to fulfil the requirements of martial artists and cutting tests (Tameshigiri). However, in order to reduce production costs and offer the sword at an attractive price, the elaborate mirror polish has been omitted. Instead, a functional, robust finish was chosen, which is ideally suited for practical use.
