The Warrior Nodachi is made of robust 1060 carbon steel, which is characterised by excellent hardness and edge retention. The blade hardening corresponds to that of the Emperor series, but the elaborate polish has been omitted in order to reduce production costs. The result is a practical, functional finish that is ideal for cutting exercises (Tameshigiri) and training purposes.
